Frequently asked questions

Gift wrapping and packaging

"Marked As Gift" Definition”
"Marked as gift" is just a reminder for sellers that it is a gift for someone and any pricing information will not put in the package. It doesn’t mean gift wrapping.

Gift Message Option:
IF you check the "marked as gift" box, you may add a message for your gift recipients. The message will be printed on the packing slip, which is a gift receipt without prices.

How to soften linen naturally?

I do not use "stone-washed" linen for my products. The stone-washing process can give linen a softness that usually happens after many washes; however, it involves the use of high-doses chemicals and may be harmful.
Linen softens over time and repeatedly washing linen helps speed the process of softening the fabric.
There are many natural ways to soften linen such as adding drops of white vinegar when washing and using wool dryer balls when drying.

Care instructions

With each washing, linen becomes softer and more beautiful.

Product details

All pieces are created by hand, no two items are identical.

I try my best to accurately describe (color, size, fabric weight, structure...) and photograph the products. If you have any questions about any of my products or services, please reach out to me before buying. It is a good idea to obtain samples before purchasing, which will physically demonstrate color, texture, thickness, etc.

Custom orders are also available. I have no way of knowing what an individual's application is and can only make what is ordered. Please choose the size carefully. I cannot be responsible for a mismeasurement at the time of ordering.

Due to the nature of online shopping, to avoid disappointment, please consider these before buying.

Wrinkles

An easier and faster way to get rid of the unwanted dent or wrinkle is to pull the linen product out of the (low heat) dryer when it's still damp and lay it out flat on a dry (color safe) towel, gently stretching it flat and letting it air dry. If there is still an unacceptable amount of 'curling' I'd recommend spritzing them with water, flatten them down and dry them by lying flat on a towel. Or use the 'spritz method' straight from the dryer. Linen dries super-fast.

Color and Texture

I try my best to ensure the photos in my listings are as true to color as possible but please note that actual color of products may vary from the images shown due to many factors such as computer resolution, screen/monitor settings, etc..

Also, due to the flax growing conditions and the dyeing process, color or texture may vary slightly from batch to batch.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Nubs and Slubs

Many natural fabrics such as linen, silk, or wool are well-known for having little nubs and slubs, which will be more noticeable in thicker or less refined fabrics. Nubs and slubs are not considered defects but natural parts of the yarn structure, which gives unique character, distinctive look, and feel to the product.

Return

Please read my shop policies before ordering.
If for any reason you are not entirely happy, please email me, and refund requests must be made no later than 3 days from date of tracking delivery of your item(s). Please ship item(s) back within 7 days of delivery.

Returns without prior notification will not be accepted nor will worn items. Item(s) must be returned in original condition. Item(s) that is (are) not in original condition will be sent back, and the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Please note that CUSTOM ORDERS / MADE TO ORDER ITEMS / ITEMS ON SALE cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
